Samarium-Cobalt Magnets Properties

Samarium-Cobalt magnets are brittle and prone to cracking and chipping. Here are some typical mechanical properties of SmCo magnets:

Density: 8.2–8.4 (g/cm³)
Tensile strength: 35(N/mm²)
Flexural strength: 150 (N/mm²)
Vickers hardness: 500-650 (HV)C
